Exploring a different treatment

TIM: When you wake up with psoriatic arthritis in the morning, you're sore and you're stiff and you're trying to move and you're typically not in a very good mood.

When I was on HUMIRA and ENBREL, I still had problems.

My skin still was dry, crusty, cracked around my hands. My joints would get very sore.

At any given time, I was always wondering if this was as good as it's gonna get.

I didn't give up hope on that, but I really thought, am I gonna just have to live with this the way it is? And then finally got to RINVOQ.

I got a call from my doctor that said, “It's a different type of medicine than you've taken before, but I think it would work very well for you. Let's try it.” I said, “Yeah, let's go for it.”

A lot of us will settle into what we have and what we're faced with, and we say, okay, this is what it is. I hope it doesn't get worse.

Well, you don't have to hope. You can ask the right questions and look forward to getting the right treatment options.
